Vastu Shastra is the ancient Indian science of spatial design, a system older than most of what we today call architecture. It aligns built spaces with the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) and the cardinal directions, so that the energy of a home or office flows freely and the lives within those walls are supported.
The principles are surprisingly practical. Entrances in the North, East, or Northeast invite prosperity. Kitchens in the Southeast (the direction of fire) work with natural forces rather than against them. The centre of the home, the Brahmasthan, is kept open and light. These are not superstitions; they reflect how sun, wind, and magnetism actually behave in a built environment.
A Vastu consultation is both remedial and preventive. For existing homes and offices, we identify imbalances and suggest adjustments, often simply placement, colour, or material changes. For new builds or renovations, we collaborate with you and your architect to align the design from the start.
